1. Who are we?

A. The 3GDatingAgency site is owned and operated by The 3G Dating Agency Limited. We are registered in the UK (technically "England & Wales") under number 06432284. You can contact us at our registered office is at: Santjit House, 132 Stagsden Road, Bromham, Bedford, Bedfordshire MK43 8QR, UK.

2. Why do we have a Privacy Policy?

A. We have a Privacy Policy to tell you how we deal with your "personal data" that we use in the operation of our business. Please read on to find out what kinds personal data we collect, how we use and protect it, to whom we disclose it and how you can access and rectify it.

B. We want you to feel comfortable with what we do. So much so that we don't agree to you using our site or registering as a member unless you are completely happy with this policy. If you do, we'll assume that you accept the policy.

3. Might the policy change?

A. It may well do and so you should check it whenever you visit our site and of course if you are a registered member we will directly inform you in the event that we have to make any changes. We'll assume you agree to the revised policy if you continue to use the site or register as a member after the effective date shown at the top of the policy. The revised policy will only apply to information we collect after the effective date.

4. What information do we collect?

A. We collect and store the information you enter into forms on our site, for example the contact details you enter to register, the multimedia profile/personal advert you post, and information you enter into our service (eg. your name, address, contact details, payment information, search criteria, communication with other members). You may opt out of providing any such information by simply choosing not to complete the relevant form but certain information is necessary if you want to use our service.

B. We collect information that you voluntarily provide (eg profile data, photos or communications with other members) that may constitute "sensitive data" because it could reveal your ethnic origin, religion and/or sexual orientation. By providing such data you specifically consent to our processing it in accordance with the policy.

C. We may also collect personal information which you provide us when communicating with our customer services in some other way such as sms, IM, email, post or voice mail/calls.

D. We may receive and store certain information automatically when you interact with us. Examples include the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, connection information such as browser type and version, your operating system and platform, a unique reference number linked to the data you enter on our system, login details, the full URL clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), cookie number, activity on our website including the pages you visited and searches you made.

5. What is our cookies policy?

A. Like many websites we use cookies and may do so in future. 6. How do we use your personal data?

A. We use your personal data to provide our services eg processing payments or to send you service-related messages such as messages from other members, confirmation emails and other messages concerning your relationship with us. Such messages may include newsletters, special offers and commercial messages related to our service.

B. We use your personal data to help us communicate with you effectively should you try to contact us via our site including verification of any claims you may make.

C. We may use cookies, IP addresses or personal data to recognize you when you visit or return to our site so we can show you ads or other content tailored to your preferences, to track anonymised traffic, demographic and usage patterns, to prevent or detect fraud or abuses or to help us improve our site. D. 7. How do we protect personal data?

A. Security is a high priority. We take precautions to protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction using the same safeguards as we use for our own proprietary information.

B. Your personal data is stored on secure dedicated database servers that are separate from our website servers and are not connected to the internet. We also maintain physical and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of personal data.

C. Our payment transaction partner uses 128 bit SSL technology to encrypt credit card transactions.

8. To whom do we disclose personal data?

A. We do not disclose any personal data to third parties except insofar as we say so below.

B. We may allow access to your personal data by third parties who supply us with a service - for the purpose of their service only. Examples include payment providers and businesses which assist us in undertaking communications or monitoring our site.

C. We may provide anonymised demographic information (eg age category, gender) to partners to target offers. This will not include any personally identifiable information.

D. Certain information which you voluntarily provide such as your profile (including images and video), personal ad and search criteria is made available to other members as part of our service. So may certain of your other activities within our site, for example when you Rate another member, visit another member's page or Blacklist another member. For more information, see the FAQs on our site. (All of this of course excludes contact details and payment data provided on registration which are never disclosed to other members.)

E. We may (direct or through our partners) distribute, publish or broadcast the information contained in your profile (including images and video), personal ad and search criteria to third parties including via email newsletters, on third party websites or via any other distribution media including electronic media (such as email, SMS, MMS, WAP, Internet, CD-Rom or DVD-Rom), and audiovisual communications media (including press, radio, analogue television, digital television, cable or satellite). You have granted us a licence to do this by agreeing to our Terms & Conditions. If you no longer wish us or our partners to distribute, publish or broadcast such information, you can terminate your registration with us by following the instructions in the designated part of our site. Such termination will not affect any previous distribution, publication or broadcast of the relevant material and will only take effect upon the next update or version thereof.

F. We may disclose personal data so far as reasonably necessary: i) if we think you have or may have breached our terms and conditions or to enforce our rights or protect the public or where if we are required to do so by law or appropriate authority; or ii) in the case of an actual or proposed (including negotiations for a) sale or merger or business combination involving of all or the relevant part of our business or in the case of an insolvency.

G. We may share your information with any other companies within our group for the purposes stated in this privacy policy.

H. We will take reasonable steps to require that third parties to whom we transfer any personal data will agree to provide sufficient protection. We may store or transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area for the purposes stated in this policy.
